Universal Provider ISO 8601 Support
Universal in 365 business Banking also reads the date from ISO 8601 timestamps and from any format through a regular expression.

Many payment service providers and banks export timestamps such as 2026-03-24T13:49:46+00:00 instead of a plain date. You import such statement files directly, without reformatting them first.
Feature Description
The Date Format field of the Universal Banking Provider Setup offers the value ISO 8601 (Date/Time). Business Central reads the date part and ignores the time and the time zone offset. For any other format, choose Custom and enter a regular expression with the named groups day, month and year in the Custom Date Regex field.
Existing setups
During the update to 18.4, 365 business Banking converts a custom date format that is already stored (D or DD, M or MM, YYYY and separators) into a regular expression in the Custom Date Regex field. If the format cannot be converted, for example with a two-digit year or German abbreviations such as TT.MM.JJJJ, the field stays empty and the setup counts as incomplete. In that case, enter the expression yourself.
