EBICS foreign credit transfer and euro urgent payment
As of version 18.4, 365 business Banking also carries out foreign credit transfers and euro urgent payments via EBICS, provided that your bank offers them.
Business Value
Payments in a foreign currency or to recipients outside the SEPA area, and urgent same-day euro payments are processed on the same route as SEPA payments: from the payment journal, signed with the key of the EBICS participant, and with the bank's status report back in Business Central. Online banking is not required for this.
Feature Description
- Foreign credit transfer: If a payment is not in euro or does not go to an IBAN in a SEPA country, 365 business Banking submits it as a foreign credit transfer (order type AXZ with EBICS 2.5, XCT with EBICS 3.0). This requires the IBAN or the account number, plus the BIC. If the journal contains SEPA and foreign payments, Carry Out Payment submits two orders.
- Euro urgent payment: Lines whose payment method has the Banking Payment Method Euro Urgent Credit Transfer are transmitted to the bank as a same-day transfer in euro (CCU or XCT-URG). The recipient name and IBAN are required; the BIC is optional.
- Both payment types are only available if the bank offers the order in the EBICS contract. 365 business Banking reads this from the bank's order overview. If the bank does not offer the order, Carry Out Payment stops with a message.
- The EBICS Submissions page marks these orders in the Foreign Credit Transfer, Euro Urgent Credit Transfer and Multiple Currencies columns.
- Payments to non-residents over EUR 12,500 must be reported to the Deutsche Bundesbank under § 67 AWV. Carry Out Payment points this out and asks whether to continue. 365 business Banking does not file the report itself.
