365 business Banking provides a direct, PSD2-compliant connection to your bank via finAPI GmbH. The connection is established via the XS2A interface (Open Banking), the FinTS protocol, or as a fallback via web scraping — depending on what your bank supports.

Once a banking connection has been set up, bank transactions can be retrieved at any time manually or automatically, and processed directly in the Payment Reconciliation Journal of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
