Business Value

When multiple users submit tax data to the tax authorities and have their own personal ELSTER certificates, user certificates allow for individual assignment per user. This eliminates the need to share a single organizational certificate and provides clear traceability for each submission. Both security and auditability of tax filings in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are significantly improved.

Feature Description

Introduced in version 17.8 of 365 business ERiC, user certificates allow individual PFX certificates to be stored per user alongside the organizational certificate configured in the ELSTER Setup. User certificates are used additively: if no user certificate exists for the submitting user, 365 business ERiC automatically falls back to the organizational certificate.
