- **Bug Fix**: Fixed double-encoded German umlauts in de-DE.xlf (e.g., "Übersetzungen" → "Ãœbersetzungen")
  - Cause: Merging to `master` rewrote XLIFF files as Windows-1252 + CRLF, double-encoding umlauts
  - Fix: `.gitattributes` pins `*.xlf` to UTF-8/LF and disables textual auto-merge
