## Business Value

Many businesses accept PayPal as a payment method in their online shop or marketplace. Manually reconciling incoming PayPal transactions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is time-consuming and error-prone. 365 business Banking connects your PayPal account directly to Business Central, automatically retrieving transactions so they can be matched and posted in the Payment Reconciliation Journal.

## Feature Description

365 business Banking supports a **direct connection to PayPal** via the PayPal REST API. Once connected, incoming PayPal transactions are automatically retrieved and displayed as bank transactions in Business Central — ready for reconciliation using the Payment Reconciliation Journal.

The connection requires a PayPal developer account with an app that has the `Transaction Search` permission enabled.
