# camt/pain files as a bank connection

As of version 18.4, 365 business Banking also manages bank accounts without an external connection. You import statements as camt files and export payments as pain files.

## Business Value

Not every company wants to grant an application access to its bank accounts, and not every bank offers PSD2 or EBICS. camt and pain, however, are supported by almost every bank, and every payment is approved in online banking.

## Feature Description

In the **ISO 20022 File Setup**, you set **Payment Scheme** (*SEPA* or *International*), **Credit Transfer Format** (pain.001.001.03 or .09) and **Direct Debit Format** (pain.008.001.02 or .08). **Retrieve Bank Transactions** imports camt.052, camt.053 and camt.054, **Carry Out Payment** writes the pain file for upload. International payments are also supported.
