# Balance excluding transit

As of version 18.4, the bank account card in 365 business Banking shows the balance excluding transit postings. This corresponds to the actual balance at the bank.

## Business Value

With a transit account, instructed payments are moved to the bank G/L account only once the bank has carried them out. The balance of the bank account in Business Central, however, includes them as soon as they are posted. Reconciliation with the bank requires the balance without these payments.

## Feature Description

The bank account card additionally shows **Balance excl. Transit** and **Balance (LCY) excl. Transit**. Bank account ledger entries carry the flags **In Transit** and **Transit Account Cleared**.
