# Glossary

## A

### Address Data (address directory)

Table name of the central table that stores checked and predicted addresses, so the same address is not sent to a service again. This documentation refers to it as the address directory. → [Address directory](address-data-directory.mdx)

### Address Data Initialization

Page and action used to read the existing address data of your company into the address directory once, split into batches per source table. Loading addresses does not check them. → [Initialize address data](../setup/address-data-initialization.mdx)

### Address Field Decoration

Visual highlighting of address fields that have not yet been checked or are ambiguous, on cards and documents. → [Validate an address](../address-validation.mdx)

### Address prediction

Feature that suggests matching addresses or companies while you type in the **Name** or **Address** field. → [Address prediction](../address-prediction.mdx)

### Address Validation All

Permission set (**bdev.ADR All**) that includes **Address Validation Basic** and additionally grants full rights on all tables of the app, including the setup. → [Permissions](../setup/permissions.mdx)

### Address Validation Basic

Permission set (**bdev.ADR Basic**) that allows day-to-day work with address validation and address prediction, but only read access to the setup. → [Permissions](../setup/permissions.mdx)

### Address Validation Results

Page that shows every match of a check sorted in descending order by **Match Score**, for selection, when a check returns more than one match. → [How address validation works](how-validation-works.mdx)

### Address Validation Scope

Setup field with the options *All*, *Only enabled for client sessions with user interface*, and *Only enabled for sessions without user interface*, which restricts automatic validation to one type of session. → [How address validation works](how-validation-works.mdx#address-validation-scope)

### Address Validation Status

Status field of an entry in the address directory, with the values *Not Validated*, *Manually Checked*, and *Validated*. → [Address directory](address-data-directory.mdx)

### Address Verification

### Alternative Address

### Always apply address change

### Change Address Value

### Compare Address

### Initialization Batch Size

### Initialized and Initialization Pct. Completed

### Match Score

### Max. No. of Predictions

### Order Address

### Role Center

### Ship-to Address
